Little Charmaine is sick
This morning, I got an email from my wife.
She informed me that Charmaine fell sick. :(
A bit worried. First time parents ma. My wife also kan cheong and straight fetch our daughter to see doc. The doc said my daughter got a phlegm and flu. Hopefully the medication works. If not, I am thinking I will send her for her pediatrician in SJMC to check this coming weekends when I go home.
Worried... worried. So I have chanted a lot of daimoku for her speedy recovery. ^_^

Encourage to attend daimokukai by SSA acquaintance member
This morning, a friend's friend came to my office for an interview after I helped her to submit her resume to my boss.
And so, we make an appointment to have a lunch with Kee who happened to know her from the KL office. As the lunch went on, I realised she was a SSA member as well. And I was being advised and pestered for not attending our discussion meetings. Aiseh... feel so paiseh leh. Kena cakap balik. hahaha.... Some more, she kept encouraging me to attend those meetings and dun miss any daimokukai.
This wednesday, we have one daimokukai session. So she kept reminding me, have to go, cannot so lazy. She asked why all the YMD becomes so lazy after active awhile. hahahaha.... I also dunno how to answer back. I just told her, "If meetings or daimokukai held during weekdays, of course I will attend. But if hold during weekends, I might not as I am travelling back to Msia every weekends ma."
I am sure this coming Wednesday, I will receive an sms from her to encourage me to attend the daimokukai.... hehe...
Feel so funny. Normally it is me that encourage people to attend meetings and daimokukai. But in return, this time I was the target. Anyway, felt glad that there are still members who are willing to encourage inactive members like me to keep on practising.
Hmm.... looking forward to this Wednesday daimokukai as I have been absent to daimokukai sessions for months already. ^_^

TGIF?? Or gloomy Friday?
For most people, Friday is the day where they look forward the most. Most people will say Thank God is Friday. For me, today (Friday) is totally a different day.
Early this morning, I received an sms from my friend. I have mentioned in my previous post that his wife who is also my friend in university had an incurable cancer. Yes.... I received confirmation of her passing. Her husband who is also our good friend during our years in Uni had convey this sad news to me.
Sigh.... Feel sad. Suddenly feel tears in my eyes. Dunno why? Probably is because I did not expect one of my friends will pass away at this young age.
Hereby, I wish to send my deepest condolence to him and his family on behalf of my family and I.
May YW rests in peace........

Retrenchment reaching my ears
Don't be misled by the title of the post. It's just retrenchment news that reached my ears; but it's not mine. Don't worry. I still have a job for now.......
Just a moment ago my landlord's son told me that his gf has been retrenched. Then earlier in the morning, I received an email from my friend to help her friend to find a job as her friend is retrenched as well.
What's going on???
