NDP Rehearsal on 5 July 2008

5th of July is our first NDP 2008 show for public. Kinda jittery... I made some mistake during the performance. Hopefully I will become better and not worse.

P.S : I did not bring any camera with me during the rehearsal. Some of the C1 members did. I am hopeful that they will send me the photos. When I get them, I will post it again. Do check out regularly. :p

My Landlady is so nice.....

My landlady is a very nice person. Sometimes when she cooked extra, she will ask me to eat also. Here's the two dishes that I remember to take the photo recently.

Wow... a big fat Cat

There is one big fat cat prowling around my HDB. The cat would always just lay down lazily on the floor disregards any people who walk past her. She will only move when it is meal time. Let you judge yourself whether she is fat or not. :p

Watch Hancock.... but think of work

Just came back watching Hancock.

Well.... the movie is not as impressive as I have anticipated. The storyline is so-so only. There is one part doesn't really make sense. I mean out of the blue, there is another one who is like Hancock. You dun understand what I mean? Either is you watch it .... or you leave a message. :p

Lately, there are not many films that I feel nice to watch.... of coz apart Lords of the Rings. I wonder whether is it my requirement has gone one notch higher, or my work pressure is doing the devil work; refrain me from enjoying my movie. :(

Lately, my work is not as smooth as before. Plenty of pressure lately. The pressure does not come from my boss nor my seniors. I think the pressure is within myself. I want to do a good job. But it seems a lot of obstacles. Hmm..... Still I will never give up. I will never lose to myself. ^ ^

So silly of me.....

I have committed the most silly mistake of the year. Normally I am a quite cautious person when comes to ticketing. Here's the story.

This evening after office hour, I planned to watch the movie '21'. Hence, I reached Tiong Bahru Plaza GV bout 6.30pm. I went to the counter and told the ticketing office, "Movie 21, 6.45pm please." Then the officer gave me the ticket and I din bother to check. I turned my eye to my wrist watch. 6.35pm.... and ticking.

I told myself... "still got time." So I went to have my dinner at Kopitiam and then proceed back to Cinema 1 at GV at 6.50pm.

After all the commercials and preview... the movie started.... The moment I saw this... "GET SMART" I got a shock.

SHIT!!!! Am I in the wrong cinema? I quickly grabbed my own ticket and looked at it closely in the dimly lit cinema.

Darn.....!!! I saw the word... "GET SMART".

Sigh... My mistake.... so I have to kuai kuai sit there and finish the movie. Well... the movie is quite nice. But not as funny as I had expected. I found Kung Fu Panda funnier.

Lesson to be learnt: Always check the tickets before leaving the counter. :p
