I just back home around 3:30am. Yeah.... it's pretty late. I had never so late to be home at SG. Tonight probably is my first.
Went for "tien kai chuk" at XYZ with some of my friends. Then suddenly one of my friends mooted the idea whether wanna go for a tour to see the parade show. I was puzzled and asked him what parade show? He answered, "Seeing ko ko kai lor." Ahh....now I know. I told him I had been to XYZ for 1 or 2 times, but never saw those ladies before. My friend told me, "It is becoz you are at wrong streets."
And so 6 of us went for a tour. My friend told me the typical question these girls will ask would be, "wanna go?" It means whether you want her service. If you want, then you will need to negotiate the price with her. I firmly told him, "I won't ler." He also told me he won't as he had a beautiful wife at home with 2 daughters. He said he just went around the area to see those pretty ladies (wash eyes) only.
I was so timid. I dare not to see those ladies eyes. I felt that they were very aggressive. As I walked along with my friends along the streets, the girls keep on trying to pull my friend away. Hence, I always walked at another side of my friends. I just felt uncomfortable with the ladies. We quickly went around the streets and went home.
So I had my first tour to those areas. It is an eye opener for me. Another friend of mine told me that tonight the streets had less ladies to see already. He told me few months ago when he went there for sightseeing, there are more ladies.
Oh well.... as people always said, there are two types of industry that has rooted in human history. One is gambling. Another is prostitution. Hence, I think it would be extremely difficult to eradicate it as long as there are demands for the ladies.
