Pondering pondering.....

I have been pondering.....

Pondering whether I should speak mandarin with my baby girl or english. Then I remember my own painful experience whereby I was surrounded by all hokkien speaking students when I was in primary 1. As I speak mandarin at home, I was treated as outcast in school.

Or should I speak dialect with my baby girl? Cantonese as right now I am at Subang area.
Hmmm.........

You speak mandarin, your wife speaks English, your siblings speak cantonese and the grandparents speak Klang Hokkien with her! Doesn't that sounds good?

HAHAHA!

Actually wen's idea is workable. In fact some said it is good that the baby is exposed to a few languages since young. But spoken in proper way lah, as in proper sentence and all... not rojak-ing English, Hokkien and Canto in one sentence :P

My NingNing, I mostly speak to her in Mandarin while Mr Yap in English so that she can learn both.
