Recently there is a lot of retrenchment going on in large scale due to the global recession that is going now. No thanks to those greedy big shot in financial industry. :(

Attending interviews
3 points in preparing for interview.

Research the organisation

• What is their nature of business? Who are their competitors
• Are they a plc, partnership or a not-for-profit organisation?
• Who are their customers and what are their products and/or services?

Make a memorable first impression

• Allow plenty of time to get to the relevant address
• Always wear a business suit regardless of the company's dress code
• Smike and shake hands firmly
• Accept tea, coffee or water if offered.
• Complete any application forms neatly and accurately

Communication

• Strong communication presents a highly positive interview style
• Speak clearly with authority and confidence but avoid being arrogant
• Be aware of the speed, volume and pitch of your voice
• Make regular eye contact and smile!
• Try to be calm, measured and assured
• Prepare some sensible questions in advance
• Think about how you will answer some of the standard questions that might arise e.g. "What are your strenghts and weaknesses?"

$10 milliong Hong Bao

Come to this friday, there is a very exciting draw. That is the lottery draw for Singapore Pools. It boasts of $10 million to be won.

Hence, I also tried my luck. I bought $10 for 20 sets of 6 numbers. Do not presume it is very easy to kena. Kena 3 numbers also you are already considered lucky. I do not know whether I can win anything.... but I just tried my luck.

Chinese astrologer are saying those people born in year of Goat does not have any luck. Well, just try. no harm. If I won.... hmm.... what shall I do with the money? I think the first thing would be buy myself a Wii or PS3. hahahaha....

Am I daydreaming here? I am keeping my finger crossed!
